Barbara Frazier's Paws in the Park Fundraising Page
It's hard to decide what to write about for my PAWS page this year.
Our world has been turned upside down.
I was off of work for 4 months after having a total knee replacement in early February. My darling dogs, Kiro and Jagger, helped take great care of me and their irrefutalbe love helped me through my recovery. All of the early Covid sheltering in place was happening while I was home and our SPCA was just opening up some of the services that had to be put on hold when I returned at the beginning of June. The "New Normal" has everyone wearing masks and practicing careful social distancing. Thank goodness we don't have to distance from our beloved pets and the animals at the SPCA!
Despite all of the restrictions that have been put on our lives, the need for animal welfare has continued. Our SPCA is still here, still caring for sick and injured animals, wildlife, conducting cruelty investigations and adopting animals out to the welcoming arms of all of you in our community.
Our SPCA, Your SPCA, still needs your support. PAWS in the Park, as so many other events, will be virtual this year but the need for fundraising is the same. As different as the world is outside, the work continues within the walls of Your SPCA.
Please consider donating to my PAWS fundriasing efforts again this year. We may not be able to walk the walk together but we can all help secure the future of animal welfare in our community. Just click the "Donate" icon at the top of this page to be a part of future of Your SPCA!
